22. Cherry Blossom Viewing (2)

The infection curve (graph for daily COVID-19 cases) of Japan consists of a number of low peaks.

Now, we are at the beginning of the forth upslope.

Under such a critical situation, the cherry trees are in full bloom. It is irresistible for the Japanese.

The other day, I went to Shinjuku-gyoen park which has a lot of variations of cherry trees.

Going to the park to see cherry flowers is my important annual event.

Two years ago, a great many of foreign tourist came to enjoy the cherry blossom viewing.

This year, the park administer put several restrictions of cherry viewing.

White cherry and pink cherry.

A reservation was required to enter the park during the cherry season.

We need to acquire a QR-cord to enter the park to say nothing of wearing face masks.

Holding a party of more than five people are inhibited.

As I saw it, people are obedient and observed rules. No one had a party.

We enjoyed a variety of cherry flowers quietly.

People enjoyed flowers quietly.

Come to think of it, parties are not necessary to admire flowers.

I think people have found a cool way to appreciate cherries this year.
